Chartwell Capital Group (Chartwell) is a privately owned financial services group with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town and associate offices in London and other European financial centres.

Chartwell was started in March 2002 by investment banker, Michael Bolton. In early 2004, experienced investment bankers John Johnson and Alan Fergus joined the shareholding and board of Chartwell. In 2006, Chartwell appointed Ted Galante as non-executive director to the board of Chartwell.
